BARRE FUSION - February 25-May 6, 2026 WEDNESDAYS 6:15-7:00pm
Barre Fusion combines the muscular conditioning of fitness, the lengthening/strenthening of ballet, and the core stabilization of Pilates-inspired mat work. The full body workout incorporates barre work, standing work, and floor work using light weights and resistance bands. You will need a mat, chair or ballet barre, 2-5 lb. set of weights, a resistance band,water to drink, and a towel. Comfortable fitness attire and ballet slippers or yoga socks are recommended. No prior ballet or Pilates experience is needed. Modifications and variations will be offered. TIME: 6:00-7:00pm
MIXED LEVEL PILATES MAT - ON HIATUS SPRING 2026
A mixed level mat class that focuses on core stabilization based on the 6 principles of Pilates: breath, concentration, flow, centering, control, and precision. Variations and Modifications will be offered to accomoidate both the beginner and intermediate students. Bring your own yoga mat and a 14 inch Pilates ring. wear comfortable fitness attire. Bare feet or yoga socks are recommended. At least one semester of Pilates mat experience is required.
PILATES MAT BEGINNER - February 16-May 4, 2026 MONDAYS 5:15-6:00pm
Pilates is a precise method of exercise that focuses on movements designed to lengthen and strengthen the body. This class will focus on the core, and you will practice the controlled movements designed to stretch and strengthen muscles without adding bulk. Just bring a mat (yoga style "sticky" mat works best) and experience what Pilates can do for your body and mind. This class is designed for the beginner Pilates student with little or no experience. Fitness attire and barefeet are recommended although yoga socks may be worn as well.
PILATES INTERMEDIATE - February 16-May 4, 2026 MONDAYS 6:05-6:50pm
This course is a continuation of the Pilates method. It will incorporate the basic and intermediate-level exercises into a more intense style of class. Students with at least two semesters (one year) of experience practicing Pilates mat is a prerequisite for participation. Just bring a sticky yoga mat and a 14 inch Pilates Magic Circle (ring). Fitness attire and barefeet or yoga socks are recommended.
BARRE: STRENGTH & FLEX - February 16-May 4, 2026 MONDAYS 7:00-7:45pm
Barre: Strength & Flex combines the core conditioning associated with Pilates with the flexibility improvements that occur with yoga, plus stability and strength exercises associated with ballet and fitness. The workout incorporates floor work, barre work, and standing body weight exercises with the use of light weights, resistance bands and the barre. No previous experience is needed., just bring a set of 2-5 lb. weights, a yoga mat, and a towel, and wear comfortable fitness clothes. This workout is traditionally done barefoot, but you may choose to wear yoga socks, split soled sneakers, or ballet slippers.
