BARRE FUSION - January 10-31, 2024 WEDNESDAYS
Barre Fusion combines the muscular conditioning of fitness, the lengthening/strenthening of ballet, and the core stabilization of Pilates-inspired mat work. The full body workout incorporates barre work, standing work, and floor work using light weights and resistance bands. You will need a mat, chair or ballet barre, 2-5 lb. set of weights, a resistance band,water to drink, and a towel. Comfortable fitness attire and ballet slippers or yoga socks are recommended. No prior ballet or Pilates experience is needed. Modifications and variations will be offered. TIME: 6:00-7:00pm
UPPER CUT - February 13-March 5, 2024 TUESDAYS
A low impact, high intensity movement class that focuses on upper body combinations to increase cardiovascular endurance without jumps or kicks. Every choreographed combination puts muscle behind the movement to work the core while standing. The class focuses on a complete balance of muscle groups with regard to strengthening and stretching particularly shoulders, hip flexors, calves, and biceps. Fitness attire and supportive sneakers are recommended. Bring a mat, set of 2-5 lb. weights, water to drink, and a towel. TIME: 6:00-7:00pm
